Hey ! Welcome the the All New Apistogramma Study Group's Domain! This has been a long time coming and finally we have gotten here. We will be undergoing some revamping of the content of this page over the next couple of weeks and will continue to do so.
The Apistogramma Study Group (ASG) is an organization dedicated to dwarf cichlid enthusiasts worldwide. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in dwarf cichlids from the professional ichthyologist to the beginning hobbyist.
The ASG is an organization committed to promote interest in dwarf cichlids in a variety of ways, from responsible captive care, to study in the wild, conservation, academic research and beyond. Furthermore, the ASG serves people who are interested in dwarf cichlids by providing a voice and means of communicating and sharing of resources and ideas.
Members will receive four issues of the Study Group's Apisto-Gram annually.. The Apisto-Gram is produced in color and contains articles and papers, book reviews, interviews and other items of interest that reflect the full breadth of the ASG's objectives. Many of the leading figures in the "dwarf cichlid world" contribute. The Apisto-Gram newsletter will keep members updated with group events, dwarf cichlid related news and views from around the world, veterinary advice and provide a mechanism for members to communicate with each other.
